This book is hilarious. I admittedly have not yet read the first two in the series but I will correct that immediately. Trapp is obsessed with his reputation in his multi-species town and Adriana showing up is causing him to crash out. Keep the popcorn coming because I am sat for this developing situationship. I'm really enjoying this story. There's more here than just a sappy love story and groping. The family history is revealed slowly through the story instead of just a quick synopsis.

Let me preface this saying I am thoroughly enjoying this read. Now, it's college kids drinking their faces off on the regular and Jaxon is a total fuckboy. It's real messy here.

I knew I was going to like this but now I love it. Katherine Center has a way of writing that propels you to the next chapter and you just cannot put the book down.

Lila's really up against it. Her mother is a nut job who admittedly has suffered as a mafia wife. Tiernan is a monster but seems to have a bit of a budding obsession with his wife.

Whatever she is paying these narrators has been worth the investment. I keep thinking, "hmmm, that is enough smut for me", but I keep listening because of these narrators.

Oh. OH. This author has some things to say.

Chapter 3. They're already widowed. I feel like I've missed a lot of the story already but I'm trusting C.M. Barnes

She should have shot him when she had the chance.

This entire series is breaking my heart. I want to kick Richard right in the dick.

I haven't read a mafia story in a while but picked this up because of how obsessed the MMC is with the FMC.

Mia is delusional right? I mean, she must be. Collins lives with his girlfriend! Even if their relationship is shitty, he's still involved. Mia needs to GTFO of there.

This is so weird. Mia hasn't seen Collins since they were children but just shows up on his doorstep. And he invites her to stay for a few days with him and his LIVE IN GIRLFRIEND. And yeah, Tatiana obviously isn't his HEA, but don't disrespect her like this. Eww. So far I am not thrilled with his or Mia's behavior.

The writing in this is outstanding. The love making scene in chapter 27 had me holding my breath without even realizing.
