Terminal Velocity is great but the rest of this collection drags it from a 4 to a 3.

Really disappointed in this after looking forward to it. While there is an overarching story that tells everything it needs to, there’s other stuff that’s completely a waste of time reading. This shouldn’t have been one shots from different titles because it just added unnecessary exposition.

Though I enjoyed the book there was a drop off from the previous book in the series. The first problem was it took over 100 pages to get your attention. After that, the next progression in the series plot does well yet all it ultimately does it set up the next books. Some surprising and interesting events do occur yet for every answer given another question is added.
