Still loving the book although I'm noticing that this version has some functional errors in display and things like missing spaces and paragraph breaks. Ah, well. I can live with those.

The biggest issue I've had with the book so far is the sudden appearance of the Nynaeve and Lan relationship. We don't see most of the buildup. One minute, she's one-upping him and the next, he's giving her a ring. Granted, it's not an engagement or wedding ring, but it's still a ring.

This book is hilarious so far. The incongruity of what is basically a lizard creature talking in modern American (or at least Western) references and the 'normal' character not having any idea what it means is brilliant. I've read the first book and I'm onto the second one now.

Currently liking this book. Jane Austen mysteries. It's like some kind of mixture of Miss Marple meets Jane Austen.
