The next story is a similar to the last except with elephants.m after reading this book I have discovered my definition of adventure. I think adventure has to be something new to the person adventuring. Every adventure is going to be different nothing can be the exact same. For reading I think the first stories were more interesting to me because it was an adventure to read since I hadnt read about some of the topics

the story about the lions finally ended. the whole point of their trip was to investigate man eating lions. the author did nothing to further any previously done research. All that they basically came away with is that in nature your part of the food chain and that's that. you have to understand your place its simply survive.

the portion i am reading currently is extremely dull compared to the rest of the book so far. basically it is just the story of some old guys that go on a paid safari in Tsavo Africa. the see some lions and take some pictures and do their best to make it sound like an insane journey

after reading about the holocaust cave survivors. i read about some of the first special forces teams in Afghanistan and what they did there.this book is interesting because there is no story line out side of the chapters there all separate. for example right after the special forces work. the next story is a much less riveting tale an a lion safari in Africa.

the bones in the last chapter turned out to be Everett Reuss'. hearing about Everett's life was extremely interesting. at the age of 16 he got up left home and wandered the wilderness with to mules and some gear and paint. the next chapter is about holocaust survivors that live underground without light for almost two years straight. its crazy.

This book is truely inspiring. I so far read stories on freedom fighters against the Taliban, doctors treating an Ebola breakout in Uganda, an analysis of the mind when one gets lost in the wild, and now a story of the discovery of Everett Ruess' grave.

Evan Dungate is finished with The Catcher in the Rye
Upon finishing this book I felt extremely unsatisfied. The book had an extremely negative ending. The whole book the protagonist Holden complains aboutand has an extremely negative outlook on life. He reachs an all time low when he visits with his sister and breaks down crying. After this he goes to visit an old english teacher who gives him life advice and things look up. Then Holden runs off and his life stays down

Nothing much has happened yet I am really enjoying this book. I'm usually the type that needs a really active and thrilling book to enjoy it. I really like the way that the book is written. I feel like I am sitting in a living room hearing Holdens story in real life.

we learn a lot more about Chris as a kid.he was a very deep kid and when all of his friends were out partying on a weekend night he would spend his time talking to and helping people that he found in the shadiest parts of Washington D.C.. in this part of the novel Krakauer also takes a couple chapters to give his own opinion on Chris which is positive. He also gives other peoples positions on Chris.

Evan Dungate is finished with Ender’s Game (Ender's Saga, #1)
...that was one of the greatest books i've ever read and by far the most interested ive ever been in a school reading. the books ending was amazing. it was totally unexpected and awesome. i dont want to get into it because if anyone reads this that hasnt read the book will have the novel ruined for them. however, i will say that getting through the book is totally worth it if youre into plot twists/sci fi.

ender has been graduated early from the academy and is headed or battle school. he was brought back to earth only to stay for a bit but ended up staying a couple months because he has no urge to buy into the military's games anymore. however he is convinced by his sister to continue with his studies because he is working towards saving the planet. i also learned more about the battle battle plan and the buggers.

i am loving this book. the way that the author so vividly describes the futuristic world that the book takes place in forces your imagination to run rampant and totally create the story in your head. currently ender is working to unite and lead his new army. throughout this process he is discovering that he is treating the younger kids the same way that he was treated and he is really questioning hes actions.
