The family has to go in cattle cars with 80 people at least to arrive in Aushwitz. It is weeks of travel with no food or water. Even no sunlight. Passengers are going crazy. Screaming, crying, and hallucinating. When they arrive they are treated like animals (not to mention they were compared to dogs). Elie and his dad are parted from his mom and sisters and never will see them again.

Elie lives in Sighet, Transylvania. His parents are in charge of shops. He is an Orthodox Jew. He studies the Talmud. He has 2 sisters swell.

Moishe is Elie's tutor. He always tries to help the Jews. Everyone is oblivion to what the Nazis are doing to the Jews.

Continuing about the Preface and the Foreword it made be realize how holocaust survivors are slowly fading off the face of the earth and so are there stories. Elie Wiesel told the story in the Preface of how he let his father die next to him then for the SS to batter him to death. This shows the cruelty to the Jews.

The Preface and the Foreword are very interesting because it gives perspective on the yiddish version of the book. Also it shows how hard it was to get the book in France and America. The evolution of how people want to learn about the Holocaust has changed since then. People used to be very sensitive to let their children read about it now its the more you read about the Holocaust.

This book will be exciting to me because I am a jewish boy and my grandma is a holocaust survivor. This book I know takes place in the holocaust. I think this will be interesting because the holocaust has so many different stories and each location expresses a different story.

Jonas finds out that Gabe is getting released. Meanwhile Jonas plans with The Giver to rebel and explore outside the community. When Jonas goes through with this plan at midnight he takes Gabe in the front basket of his bicycle. Jonas and Gabriel experience aircrafts searching for them, starvation, and SNOW. Jonas and Gabe avoid these things by transmitting memories to keep them for example feeling warmth in the snow

Jonas is starting to experience painful memories. Jonas transmits a memory to Gabe. He shows Gabe in the memory of elephants! I predict in the process of the transmission that Gabe experiences color and emotion. Now Jonas loses the memory after transmitting it to Gabe.

Jonas thinks that color is wonderful. Jonas thinks that people making their own desicions is bad.

Jonas is experiencing warmth, snow, fun, and love. Jonas is avoiding his injections. Jonas is a troublemaker.

Jonas experiences stirrings for Fiona... His stirring is in the form of a dream of him in a bathtub with her and bathing her. When Jonas shares his dream at the family unit feelings time at Breakfast Jonas's Mom starts to give him pills. The pills are to stop the stirrings. Lily on the other hand receives her bike at the ceremonies of nines. The bike represents independence from the family unit.Read comments for more

This book takes place in November and we are introduced to Jonas: the main character, Asher: Jonas's Friend, Lily: Jonas's Sister, and Jonas Mom and Dad. Jonas is nervous about December as he expresses at dinner. In December is the Ceremony of Twelves. Where you get assigned to a job and spouse for the rest of your life. If you are no use to the community you are "released" in other words killed!

The No-Name party came up with a new slogan for their campaign. Addie and Bobby try to write a campaign speech together. Bobby calls Kelsey!!!!!! I predict that Kelsey will tell Bobby she likes him.

Bobby talks to his dad about crush on Kelsey. I feel that Bobby and his Dad are creating a stronger relationship. Ms. Wyman finds out about Addie and Bobby's No-Name Posters that have been mysteriously been hung up around the school. Bobby convinces Mr.Kiley to let the No-Name party to continue. I predict that Addie will be jealous of Bobby since that Addie is the real back-bone of the No-Name party.

The book is currently in April. Charlie keeps on losing maze races with Algernon. Charlie begins to take therapy sessions with Dr. Strauss. Charlie doesn't know why she is. I forgot to mention Charlie works in a bakery called Donner's Bakery. A large group of people came to see Charlie work... she got a promotion as dough-mixer! Charlie through out the book develops more emotions.

Charlie Gordon is a 32 year old turning 33 soon. Dr Strauss told Charlie to write down everything that she thinks, remembers, and happens to her. Charlie is mentally ill. Researches want to run an experiment on Charlie to make her smart. The experiment also involves a mouse named Algernon.

Addie and Bobby aren't allowed to put up posters around the school by Mr.Kiley and the school secretary. Bobby came up with the No-Name Campaign and its about no name-calling and bullying. The group of five are hanging up posters with all the names they've been called and writing crosses on them. Since their encounter with Mr.Kiley about a 3rd party not being allowed the new posters got all the kids chit-chatting.

Joe opens up to Skeezie and Bobby about liking Colin. Addie likes Colin aswell so Joe wants to keep it between them. Although Joe acts very girly he never opened up out being gay to his parents but he thinks his parents assume it considering is green fuzzy carpet and hot pink everything.

Joe faces being bullied in school for being gay. Joe paints his nails with random and colorful drawings. People write "faggot" on his locker and he shakes it off like a confident peacock. Joe is a very outgoing person but at times it seems he is bottling his true feelings. It is hard for Joe to be gay in such a small town. No one but his family and the Gang of Five is accepting of him. I wonder how Joe will turn out?

Bobby and the Gang of Five (Bobby, Addie, Joe or JoDan, Skeezie) face their own individual problems and they discuss it upon eachother in their weekly (more like daily) forums. Addie is neither democratic or repbulican and teachers won't let her be a free party she doesnt accept the pledge of alliegence.

Livia and Lex imitate Kendall and Kylie in the story Rebels City of Indra when there are two worlds one in the sky and on the ground full of rich and poor.

Bobby the main character is a responsible young man selling ties and his boss Killer-Man doesn't like Bobby much. Bobby's BFF Skeezie isn't too happy about him either considering Bobby is skipping required group hangouts for work. Bobby is working because of his dad.

A long time ago a semi-barbaric king built a public arena for a man who did a crime. The whole town went to see the daily events. The way it works is the man has to open a door (there are 2 doors) and one door has a tiger that will eat the man in front of the audience or the most beautiful lady in town and the man and the lady would immediately get married what-so-ever. The king's daughter is now dating a man and...

"The Gift of Magi" by O. Henry is stellar! It tells the ironic love story of James and Della. The love birds gave up their most prize possessions to make each other happy on Christmas! Although they are going through poverty their love overcomes it all. I recommend this book for people who gushes over sweet young love stories.

Serena is boy crazy as we know and winds up dating Aaron. Nate is suspicious of Jenny as she seems a little stalker-ish. I predict Jenny has a crush on Nate. Blair suspects her mother is up to something... especially since she is off to her honeymoon. Everyone goes to the Caribbean with the Waldorf family. Winter break is sure to have some drama. I can't wait to read more.

As the mystery of gossip girl continues... Its christmas and we know what that means: winter break. Blair and Serena are off to the Caribbean. Blair's mom and her new husband: Cyrus are having their honeymoon. Blair is struggling with her relationship with Nate.

Divergent is an amazing and thrilling book featuring young love with hardships. I recommend this book for everyone especially for some people who are big fans of The Hunger Games Series. I give it 5 stars
