I don’t love interview style books. There’s some good bits of wisdom in here, but reading someone’s speech is torturous. People don’t speak like they write, so the every chapter has this meandering style which is a stark change from the non-fiction I’m used to reading.

I need to stop reading business books 😑

Damn, Robert Jordan must have had some miserable women in his life. The constant braid tugging, sniffing, and complaining about men, how stupid they are, how useless they are - it’s so tiring. I’m not even insulted by it, just bored. If men aren’t disparaged by women at least 3 times a chapter, it’s not in this book. Just get on with it.

The Elayne + Nynaeve menagerie sequence is the most boring thing I’ve ever read in my life and it’s 20% of the book.
