It’s a little tedious. I feel like this book could be cut in half, and dial up the plot, and maybe then it would be decently interesting. Concept is okay. Execution is lacking Characters—I still feel pretty indifferent about them.

I have never read LitRPG before, so at first I wasn’t sure. Now, I’m really getting into this.

Book 1 was adorable, so onward to book 2!

Just picked this one up in the Audible sale and can’t wait to revisit it.

Rushed, incomplete, and unsatisfying.

I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I am enjoying this one. It's not perfect, but the concept is fantastic. The storytelling is good. Definitely on the dark/bleak side of things, but I think that's fitting in a post-apocalyptic story. I'm really curious to see where this is going to go, and I'm hoping we get to dive a little deeper on some of these side characters.

Wow! Great start! I only paused, because I need cookies and wanted to post an update. I’ve been wanting to read this for ages, but had decided to wait until March, since it publishes May 5. Then the pandemic distracted me. So happy to finally be reading this! I can already tell it’s going to be fantastic. Yay!

Holy wow. This is fantastic, and I’m both upset and obsessed with this story. So intense and well-written.

I’m obsessed with this one. It’s a dystopian, western, supernatural mashup, with a heavy dose of adventure and girl power.

Well, Goodreaders, I'm between a rock and a hard place, because I desperately want to know how this wraps up. All the shit hit the fan at once, and I threw this book down 2 days ago in horror. I was so stressed out and not sure if things would work out okay in the end, so I freaked and stopped reading. So now I'm ready to go back in there, and I'm 1 part anxiety, 1 part curiosity, 2 parts tequila. Wish me luck.

I am completely addicted to this book, but the real world won’t go away and leave me alone so I can just finish it! Shame on you, people who interrupt other people who are clearly consumed by a book. Where are your priorities? You are creating my own, personal hell. Just go away and let me read all the murdery murders in peace!

Really rough/poor start. I am pretty shocked. I have had to repeatedly stop from DNF-ing. The only reason I keep trying is I love the Seven series, but this is really amateur and reads like a completely different author wrote it. So I’m sad and frustrated but hoping this is a situation where book 2 would be significantly better than book one. . . If I could just hang on.

Dense and textbook-like, though it seems to be well-researched. Guess that is what I should have expected from this. Am already feeling some information overload.
