Wonderful. Brilliant. Superb storyteller. Loved it.

So much sadness that might have been prevented. And yet, there is also a measure of acceptance and a turn to joy.

The author tells the story of John Wilkes Booth’s family. It was engaging, eye opening, and, of course, heartbreaking.

I don’t know how to think and feel after reading this. I got lost multiple times but just kept reading, not always know what what’s happening. Well written- I believe the author intended the confusion. Indeed. I’m going to need a minute to regain my balance.

I feel like I’ve known her forever. It’s her story but I see parts of mine mirrored with hers. My daughters have been blessed to have her as an instructor and she has inspired both of them. She continues to cheer them on. I have a very similar memory of a handmade cabbage patch doll, from a mom who tried her best.

Endearing.

This one is a masterpiece. Scary as hell, yet irresistible, it was like covering my eyes and peeking through my fingers to see what happens next. Character development is spot on, leaving you with no choice but to be invested in what happens to them. This one grabbed me from the very start.

Kept my attention, I can see a movie being made out of this book. I need to take some time to process what I just read. This review is in progress.

Interesting plot; it was nice to connect with a familiar character from another series. I’m wondering if there will be any connection to Dark Tower...?

Sometimes all the bad gunky is very real. This story is beautifully written and the end was sweet. No spoilers.
