Great read. Some excellent characters. Good plot which follows the exploits of Olaf & his oath sworn friend Torgil. They travel from there home north. Success & wealth follow along with more men & followers. We see them head to Ireland & bitter fighting. The book moves on with more action & adventure , plans & plots change. loyalties & warrior brotherhood stretched. The book is well paced & keeps the reader gripped
