MY FAE KING ROWAN THE LOVE OF MY LIFE IS BACK 👑🙇‍♂️ Poor Aedion is getting a beating so far - almost executed, revelations about his lineage, finding out he’s not Aelin’s blood oath 😭 I’m very intrigued by Elide and Manon’s relationship, just want them to be more in the main story (i know it’s coming but i want it now!) Also wanna look at a Terrasen royal family tree but scared of spoilers!

Wow…. this book has been absolutely non stop so far!! F chaol he’s being so rude for no reason and hypocritical?! The covo with Aelin’s dance teacher was so touching - art is so important 😭 SO glad aedion is saved now 🙏Poor dorian it’s so heartbreaking, need him to get thru💔 Like nesryn and unexpected that lysandra would be such an ally, but love this! Now ready for the downfall of Arrobyn!

so i have been LOVING this book but my life has gotten so busy that reading has gone on the back burner… but wow the world is just growing so incredibly fast in this book and i am loving it. So many new characters that i love (Rowan, Sorcha, Aedion, Mannon) and i am really really enjoying the storylines - hope life calms down so i can get stuck into this even more!

Life has been so crazy so been a little slower getting into this book than the others in the series, but i can already tell the story in this one is incredibly richer and the expanse of characters, plot and world just keeps on growing!

Underworld - Good storyline, liked that it linked to the slave trade fallout (plot and character wise) from skull bay. Also appreciated getting to know Sam more - the music sheets and “I’D PICK YOU” was so cute 😭 He is giving golden retriever. I hate Aroybynn he is so calculated, i didn’t trust him for a second. Only sensed the double cross once she seen the docs and was screaming at her not to kill !!

Enjoyed the assassin and the desert, although i did predict the double cross a mile away. We were introduced to some really cool characters in this short story again - Ilias was intriguing and the silk merchant was also interesting. Some lines here were also very beautiful and nice to read. Now on to the last two short stories!

Finished the first two short stories and I LOVED the assassin and the healer. The story felt so personal and we learnt loads about Cel and Yrene in the process - I hope she’s gone on to train as a healer and that we meet her again in a time of need so she can heal Cel !!

i will never get over the first king being called GAVIN…. of all names 😭😭😭 this book is so addictive i literally haven’t been able to put it down and it HAS NOT LET UP the past 100 pages 🤯🤯🤯 full of pure surprises and reveals that i never would have guessed!

oh how much can change in a book update -
1) I knew Nehemia was up to something but i didn’t think it would end like this - SJM K WORDED MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER?! and it (apparently) wasn’t the king?! then who tf was it (looking @ u roland)
2) I was finally onboard with the chaol-cel romance and THIS IS WHAT IT GETS ME?! HEARTBREAK?! BETRAYAL?!
3) dorian’s powers = chefs kiss

I feel it’s all coming together

This book is team chaol and you know what… i’m into it! TOG had me leaning towards dorian (and i still feel like he’s endgame) but WOW is chaol being such a great boyf material (minus the king allegiance) - PG 174: “I can’t tell if i should be ashamed for wanting to hold you on this day, or grateful that, despite what happened before now, it somehow brought me to you” - THERE ARE TEARS DOWN MY FACE !!!

goddamn this book has gripped me already i can’t stop reading - pls tell me how i have to go down for dinner now after that cliffhanger chapter with celena being poisoned?!?!? I NEED TO FIND OUR WHAT HAPPENS
