This is the first Nicholas Sparks book I’ve ever read, is the writing always this bad? 😬 The dialogue seems so unnatural, people don’t talk like this to each other!!! The one redeeming thing is I get to picture Jake Gyllenhaal as the main character.

Why do I do this to myself?! 🫣😭

I know I’m getting old because the teen romance/drama is cheesy and unrelatable to me. The 45-year-old helicopter mom? Yep, that’s me! 😅

Took a break from this book for a little bit, even though I do find it interesting. How do people with kids get their reading done? 😅
