Chapter one. Broad strokes introduction. Author was trying to convince the readers to read. For people who are not from the field will benefit with the framework of thoughts (to be filled later).

Rahul Venugopal is starting The Interoceptive Mind: From Homeostasis to Awareness
I wanted to read something which can be my so called "area of future research". Something exciting, challenging, grounded in theory/philosophy and close to consciousness studies. Twitter has been sparkling with many threads on interoception, embodied cognition, extended cognition etc etc. This book seemed perfect to know the field in good detail. Let us begin the journey

Rahul Venugopal is finished with A Man Called Ove
I felt a lump in my throat and eyes getting heavy reading through the final chapter. This is definitely one of the warmest book I read. There were so many places which were master strokes from the author. So many warm moments, lots of subtle life lessons. What can I say, totally in awe with Ove 🕊️

Now, you listen to me,” says Ove calmly while he carefully closes the door.“You’ve given birth to two children and quite soon you’ll be squeezing out a third. You’ve come here from a land far away and most likely you fled war and persecution and all sorts of other nonsense. You’ve learned a new language and got yourself an education and you’re holding together a family of obvious incompetents. And I’ll be damned if...

Rahul Venugopal is starting Raw Thought, Raw Nerve: Inside the Mind of Aaron Swartz
Picked up this book which was pending since 4 years before I started my PhD. I wanted to read this before I venture to a new phase in my life. Time is ripe to read this book. I am somewhere close to end of my PhD journey and I am sincerely hoping this book would lit that final charge. Aaron Swartz is my hero (I am not a huge fan of hero workship, but I wept after watching Internet's own boy documentary)
