I have not had a chance to read this book. I guess it shows I'm currently reading by mistake. Probably mine. May have hit the wrong button.

This was sort of an epic tale covering several continents from England to NewZealand to South Africa. A poor young man in England defies social rules and defends his young sister being raped by a powerful Lord. He's sent to prison for 15 years but eventually transported to New Zealand sill in a prison but he eventually escapes and meets a land owner who takes him in and teaches him about preserving the natural wild
