I'm still in the prologue, and it's a complete 180 in a few paragraphs, lol.

It goes from this:

"She’ll find a Daddy one day who won’t have to walk away. The thought of her with another man wakes the monster inside me, but while I’m a selfish man, I can’t be selfish with her."

To this

"“Find out everything about her. If she has a boyfriend, get rid of him. She’s mine,” I growl."

In the same page...lol

Geez. This is a hot mess, but it's a free listen. Let's start with the narrators. Lurve the male voice. He sounds strong and sexy. The only problem is that the character itself is supposed to be 25 and is so damn cocky and full of himself. The female narrator does well when playing the voice of Bella, but the voice for Alba is so whiny! Like she's 8-13 instead of 18! And her voice for the man, horrible.

This one is already so much better than the 1st. Love me a damaged man and a strong woman.

I'm not a big fan of Nate's attitude/way of thinking.

So far, not liking neither the storyline nor the narrator.

So far I am loving it! I have become a big Audible fan because I am driving a truck all day every day. I actually still prefer a written book but I have adapted.

Anyway, the story has some things I automatically get upset about but there are positives as well. Can't wait to see how it goes.

Even though this narrator ALWAYS makes me growl at her while listening, I'm going to try anyway. Included in romance package on audible. So you know...freeeeee. LOL

So far this is thoroughly entertaining. And the narrator is superb.

Spoiler alert!

I love Duncan but Moira really gets on my nerves. She keeps saying she isn't spoiled what she expects everything to be her way.

So far, this book is absolutely amazing! I really haven't been pulled in like this by a brand new author (to me) in awhile. If I didn't have to go to work in the morning, I'd stay up all night to finish it. :-)

Just finished and it was superb!

Just started this book and it has me laughing so hard tears are streaming down my face! Claire is HILARIOUS! I think it's so funny because she thinks like I do...no filter. lol. Love it!
