expecting this book to be very meghan quinn: pisses me off but is reliable and cozy and easy

so torn as to my feelings on this book so far

anyone not liking this because ryland grace is similar to mark watney, people are too smart, and weir’s racist because he… what, shows all cultures coming together to smartly and efficiently work on a problem? just say you don’t like scifi or fun and move on with it. andy weir is an original genius
