It's a bad sign when you update your "currently reading" list and there are 8 books on it. And none of them are ones you've actually set aside, you just can't concentrate on anything for longer than 5 minutes. So you read a bit about the survivors of concentration camps and then a few pages of a Victorian cozy mystery and then listen to a bit about Alcuin of York while obsessively solving sudokus...

Note to self: if you’re going to insist on reading a bajillion books about European royalty, MAKE A FAMILY TREE!

Mt. TBR Update for May: FAILED

Okay, I may have read 30 books this month, but only 2 of them were from Mt. TBR, and only 1 of them was a paper copy that I could then take in to the store (May's mini-goal was 5!) Plus, I've actually taken home more than 10 books from the store and haven't added them to my mt-tbr list! FAIL.

June will be better. Goals: Update mt-tbr list. Read 10 Mt. TBR books. Read 5 paper copies.

Books completed: 16 (9 from Mt TBR)
Books DNFed: 2
Books added to Mt TBR: 7

Monthly goals:
- 1 short story collection (kind of - I read a collection of Prime Reading short stories but they counted as 5 items read!)
- 1 Canadian lit (I read the graphic novel of Handmaid’s Tale, does that count?)
- 1 book that has been on Mt TBR since 2015 (yes! Well, DNFed it.)

Sorry for the absolute flood of added books — getting my Mt TBR list up to date so I can start tackling it!

I'm on the last tsar and there's still 7.5 hours left!
