Hmm, I'm not feeling it. Maybe it's me. Maybe not. Putting this aside too. Come back to it later. Could be my mood since this is 2 books in a row that just isn't working for me.

Putting aside for a while. I have a couple of the books in this series but this is moving slow for me.

Made it to chapter 7
Finally
This one is very S. L. O. W. moving. The beginning was promising. But after that first chapter or so it has been snail crawling slow.
AND
Repetitive.

Just made it to chapter 10. I have forgotten how much darker and technical these are.

I'm so glad I decided to continue this series! This one is TONS better than #1.
Good lord J.T.G. really knows how to write a Sex Scene!

Just made it to chapter 4 and already it has made me laugh numerous times. This one is much better than the 1st one in the series. So far 😊

Made it to page 42 chapter 7
While I really enjoyed the 1st book in this series, this one is Very Slow Moving. And I hate flashbacks. This 'Flashback' has lasted for the entirety of the book so far.

About 40% in and it's boring me to tears. Everything is Pup and Zuri thinking in their heads. No real action. I'm bored.
It's speed reading time.

I'm having trouble getting into this. The dialogue and writing is a problem.
I don't have the patience for it. I'm putting it on my backburner & will try again later. Right now it looks like another DNF.

Got a LOT of questions about various things.
But mostly, I think I'm beginning to understand something about Ben and 7th!

Been super busy this week and it has REALLY slowed down my reading.
But I'm very curious about the Hatshepsut & Shai's story.
Loved this statement from the story in chapter 8 and felt like sharing it.

This series is hilarious! And so far this one has been the funniest of them all!

I am NOT a happy camper. The story started getting really good. I was totally into it. Then BAM everything went upside down and we are back to Intense Sorrow! I'm pissed

Just made it to chapter 28. I can't believe how long it is taking me to read this. The pace is unbearably slow. I own ALL the books in this series & I adore J.T. Geissinger, but it is painfully obvious that these are her first works. The potential to be great is there. But the pace & so much that needed to be edited out....

It's growing on me. Getting better.

It's still a little slow paced, but I was able to get into it more.

I started this a long time ago. I absolutely adore J.T. Geissinger but I'm having trouble getting anywhere with this one. I know it's me more then story, though this is slow paced.
It's just to much 'Sorrow'. Which I can't handle right now. Too much sorrow in my Real Life to read books about it or people dealing with it.
I'm going to try One More Chapter. If I don't click with it by then, I may dnf.

Just made it to chapter 25
Very slow paced. Just finished the FIRST steamy intimate scene. While it is VERY hot, the pace of the story is so slow it makes it hard to care.

Since this is in a bundle and the chapters aren't numbered but they are named, it's hard to say how far I really am.
I've read the prologue and at least 2 chapters both named Natalia.
It is pretty much as expected so far. A bit slow moving. Slow paced.
Not as bad as I was afraid of, but my expectations are low.
Especially since it's over 300 pages long and ends on a cliffhanger. Ugh

I've only made it to page 191. There's a lot of ... WORDS 😂What I mean by that is the pace is slow and the story is Very Wordy.
It's interesting but the story also contradicts itself. Especially with the tournament stuff. And her side seems to have WAY to many rules about everything. I'm going to finish this and hope the rest of the series is better. There is a lot of potential.

Made it to chapter 16 and guess what. If you guessed another chapter of sex, you guessed right.
I'm done.
