Finished book 1. Need to take a break and read something different.

Giving up for now. 15 pages from "book two muad'dib" which was my goal stopping point but I just can't get into the groove with this book.

Why does she have to say his last name every single time she mentions Alex? 🙄

I'm seriously thinking about DNFing because why are they picturing their future son while having sex??

I still don't like him very much, but I am starting to understand why Chaol is the way he is.
But he still gives me old man boomer vibes.

I've realized why a rated my last book lower. SJM is just so descriptive about everything and it's like watching a movie as I read he books.

So far loving this book! Already feels like a 5 star read for me
