I’m 57% through and feels like it’s still in build up mode

I’m really enjoying the story but I’m frustrated. For a book that is literally about editing and fact checking while writing a book they missed some important things such as; in Boston it’s Mass Ave not Mass Avenue and the reaction to some blood in the hospital is way overboard!
