SHE IS SO RUDE! STOP STEALING FOOD OFF OF PLATES

The premise - cute! The execution - a dizzying first 60 pages that explains everything and nothing at the same time. I had to keep back tracking because of the over use of sentences broken by commas. Sometimes, you can say all you need to say by flat descriptions. Not the case here though. There has to be a comparison with every line.

I don’t know when the characters went from fun, 3D, and living to the dull, 2D sex fiends. Yet, here we are. Rachel’s heritage adds nothing, but cringe. Caleb being queer came out of nowhere’s. There should be more pawning over Jake in the first few POVS than the random“I like dick in my mouth” then a couple chapters later “ type of queer that’s in love with his best friend” AFTER NOTHING!

Gripping read so far. I would have definitely devoured the book if I did not have to pace myself for school.

The book is okay.
