Patrick needs a slap

Liking it so far. Little the writing and accompanying pictures.

I’ve known of this book for a long time. It was a bestseller when I worked at Borders Books over 12 years ago. I got a free copy recently and thought why not? I’ve never read an Ann Patchett book before and now I’m sorry I have. I’m only on page 29, Chapter two and I really love Patchetts style of writing. Enjoying so far!

You’ve got to be kidding me.

So Esther suspected two weeks prior and did nothing but drive Grace to the airport? Sheesh. Glad this dumb book is finished.

This book is pretty monotonous. It’s the same thing over and over.
Jack: Don’t even think about.
Grace: Thinks about and does it. Fails…over and over and over.
Jack: Punishment ensues.

This is stupid. I don’t know how this book has such high ratings.

What is Grace DOING!!! Ugh! I want to take her by the shoulders and just shake some sense into her.

This book is ridiculous. And Grace is an idiot.

Took a bit to get into but now I’m rockin and rolling with the story. Still hate reading th e AIDAN passages tho.

Ugh. This book is a slog.

So when are these 10k doors gonna happen? Cuz I'm a quarter of the way thru the book and the LC has only seen one door and she didn't even go thru it. Snooze fest so far. Hope it gets better soon.

I want to smack the crap out of Andy. She's 30 but acting like an 8 year old. Come on girl! Get it together!

I actually laughed out loud. Maybe the book is getting slightly better?

Not liking this so far. The narrative is all over the place and the anecdotes seem to be all made up.
