Whitney West is starting Fall of Night (The Morganville Vampires, #14)
I don't feel the same overwhelming love and connection with this book as I did the previous 12. That in itself is unfortunate as a reader. I purposely refused to read the books as they came out because I knew I couldn't live with the cliffhangers Caine so giftedly leaves her readers. With that said I am crossing my fingers the last two end on a high note!

Such an inspiring novel. The manuscript for this book was written by Caroline Spencer, a woman who is forced into a nursing home of sorts. Her tale of verbal, physical, and mental abuse to her and her companions is devastating to read. Her quick wit and cleverness to see the big picture is remarkable. Her continuing fight to stay sane and not fall into dementia is tragic. Great novel!

Whitney West is reading Patriotism
I had to read this story for my world literature class, and it definitely caught my attention. The graphic detail about suicide is intense and gross. It's hard to imagine suicide as being an honorable ritual in today's society.

What the hell was I thinking when I picked up this book? The fact I found it at a thrift store should have been my first warning. The most bizarre ridiculous-absurd book I have ever read. Let me just say it was pointless and stupid, not relatable what-so-ever. The cover gave me such high hopes. Save yourself the misery and find another book to read, this one was a waste of paper.

READ THIS BOOK! Seriously one of the best young adult books I have ever read. It raised so many questions about time traveling, yet it answered and explained most of them. I couldn't put it down, easy read. But causes you to think logically about ever wanting to time travel. Definitely recommend this book to people who like dystopian literature. A must!

I always get a kick out of the dialogue not to mention the dialect in Spark's works. This book was no exception, hysterical-hand-to-the-knee kind of book. If the story line doesn't strike your fancy the dialogue sure will!
