If I had known the direction where this was going I wouldn’t have read it—it’s just a subject I actively avoid. That said, I love Stacy Willingham’s immersive writing. At the 60%+ part I was glued to this book and had to know the ending. There are twists on twists toward the end.

Audiobook: Karissa Vacker is fantastic, as always. The MVP of female narration.

DNF at 40%. This is the oldest AJ book I’ve read, and maybe that has something to do with it, but this book just annoyed me. I hate everyone.

FMC is the ultimate Pick Me Girl who wants an alpha male.

MMC loves her because she’s nOt LiKe OtHeR gIrLs. She likes beer, burgers, and no makeup, and is a “unicorn.” 🥴

I think the author wanted this to be a feminist book but failed.

Cute read with a slow burn. I did have a little trouble connecting with Aiden (didn’t get why he was so anti-love despite the “explanation”). I loved the LGBTQ+ and single mom representation.
