I’m listening to the audiobook and have already had to pause it more than once to replay key points. This one on voter suppression: “To suppress the vote is to make a mockery of democracy and those who do so are essentially acknowledging that their policies aren’t popular. If you can’t convince a majority of voters that your ideas are worthy, you try to limit the pool of voters.”
