Did not finish...lost interest in slow story.

I lost interest in this book after a few chapters.

This was interesting because the focus was on Belgium during WWII. It was based on true diaries with some portions from the author's imagination. I enjoyed reading it but was happy to finish and go on to something else.

I quit reading halfway through the book. The attitude of some players and family disgusted me. I have heard that attitudes of some changed further in the book, but I had had enough of hockey and its brutality. It should generate an interesting discussion at book club.

Interesting to learn how her mission began.

Read half the book but did not finish. Got too unbelievable for me.
