It feels like Stephen King book. Holy God, this is a good book. I read last night until 4am.

God, this book is good! The characters are rich, the plot is fast paced. I’m going to be broken-hearted when I finish this week.

Boy, I am not feeling the books lately. What's wrong with me? I have reading burnout.

I really like this book. I don't think it will be for everyone because it is long, but it's different and the story stays with me.

This is a surprisingly good book so far. Poor Nora is living with the fae and has no idea. Her mind is so befuddled by their magic, she can't even say how many legs a horse has. It doesn't look good for Nora.

DNFing. I can't do it. The most simple descriptions are fucked up. There's no consistency. The repetition is appalling.

In three pages, Devilyn describes his behavior as being " as cool as possible" three separate times. The cheerleaders are all like lions with their prey and Caroline is like a tigress. *facepalm*

"Snake's den..." Umm, lion's den/viper's nest?

The editor of the school paper needs Caroline to do an article on Devilyn tonight because the paper goes to print in the morning. You know, because that's how school papers work, said no English teacher ever.

We've already hit all the major stereotypes, had an info dump, and a ridiculous name-Devilyn. We're all set up for some special snowflakes, and a love triangle.

Blueford and Phoebe. Blueford protects Phoebe from the mean old Bluebelle.

I have two blue cats. The male is Blueford, who is a purebred Russian. Don't look at me like that, he was a rescue. Bluebelle was my parents cat, who is a mixed blue. When Bluebelle plays too rough with Phoebe, Blueford regulates. He loves Phoebe and licks her butt on the daily. That's cat etiquette for "I love you."

I like this book a lot, but sometimes it's so Hallmark channel. Sigh. Still, that's my only complaint.

She's getting so big! Phoebe is 4 weeks old if any of my Arizona peeps are interested in adopting her at 6 weeks, let me know!

Diana Gabaldon of Outlander fame has picked her Jamie. It's Sam Heughen, who dyed his hair for her Facebook dissenters who said he just wouldn't do as Jamie. Looks pretty fine to me.

I miss Perry's POV. I'm actually tired of Dex's dick. I know. How can that be? I just am. I love Dex and Perry, but I might like Dex from her POV better.

It's going to be 119 degrees tomorrow, you guys. I don't even know how to cope with that. I have shit that has to get done. NO!
