I find it difficult to give memoirs star ratings. Who are we to judge and rate someone’s experience? This book doesn’t need such graces. Chanel is an incredible author that presents her story with tenderness & power. There are similar stories that read like sensational tellings, written to entertain the reader - this is not one of those. You can feel every word move to Chanel’s will to command healing and truth
