Rad AF. Almost makes me want to rethink never eating a fruitcake. Almost.

Love seeing the Pittsburgh references start to fly. “What happened in Pittsburgh,” “Yinzer,” etc. Amazing that legendary zombie stories, and everything they’d inspire, started right in my backyard.

This is unexpectedly colorful, fun, well-written and entertaining. Had I started it at a better time of day, and not midnight, I would have surely finished the book in a single sitting or split session.

I’ll surely be watching “Return of the Living Dead” again soon to refresh the similarities and “knocked-off” plot. It’s been a minute!

I’m not a fan of the quickness of the “tragedy” and immediate resolution I’ve just read through. In the “diner scene” to the 297 page range. Feels like it goes against who the characters have become, but it’s also hard to imagine what I would have done as a junior in college.

Still a quick and enjoyable read for me, but bummed about that section. Maybe 13% of the book will change my mind about that.

Really enjoyed this, but I didn't find it as the groundbreaking retelling of Batman's origin it's been touted. Surely a sign of comics' style change since its release. Loved how much of it was told from Gordon, however. Worth your time.
