Good so far, lots of heqvy topics but very well written and I love her conversational and approachable tone to such charged topics

Super good so far. I like a mystery, this I s a nice slow burn that keeps a good pace, reminds me of fifth season. Also isn’t repetitive, like broken country or housemaid. It’s like carefully feeding you little details one by one. It’s great and highly recommend… so far

So far still setting the scene and characters. I do like the ageism comments and exploring life as a senior citizen, tangentially touches upon ableism etc.

It’s hard to read. I feel like there are four themes — war / time travel / current-disaffected-lovers-too-lazy-or-codependent-to-break-up / past gay lovers can’t be together. The first theme of war and significant civil war and complex political dissent is skipped over, just a backdrop.
