Quick read. Kind of too much like It's a Wonderful Life movie. Okay but too predictable.

Amazing book. I liked all the different personalities and their relationships. Most importantly was the relationship between Morgan and the mother,Eva.

Amazing insight from Anne Lindberg about life through her perceptions of island life. I will buy this book for all my daughters.

I never knew the depth of craziness of Japanese towards prisoners till this book. I am in awe of loui's bravery and strength.

Amazing and a must read

I enjoyed the book and the story and life of shrimpers.

Was left hanging with Carson and now how long do I wait? I was disappointed carson went on date with marine. Now I am left with questions about her moral fiber with her impending pregnancy. I can say Dora's character pleased me.

Excellent. Cant wait for sequel
