I can’t finish it. I’m just so bored with it!

I’m not enjoying it. 50% read and I’m skimming. The coincidences seem too convenient. I don’t particularly like any of the characters. I’m so disappointed.

I don’t think I’m going to finish this book. I just don’t like it. Nothing about it. The writing. The characters. The tone. Too bad. I had high hopes.

So far this book is very repetitive and boring. 55% through it and I’m forcing myself to read. I’m going to start skimming it.

Just started this book. So far it’s keeping interested. It’s really light and easy. I’m enjoying it.

Something better happen. I’m reading on my Kindle. 36% finished. I’m hoping I do finish it, cause it is so boring. I don’t understand all the great reviews. So far…..so boring.

This would be a great movie or series. I haven’t finished it yet, but I’m really enjoying it.

DNF depressing

70% finished. I’m pushing myself to complete it. So many characters. Beautiful writing but it’s over done now. This book is going no where. Why did I pick this one??

Predictable, so far. Hoping there’s more to this story, I’m getting bored.

DNF. It got too predictable and I became bored. Too much fluff. No substance.

DNF- Halfway through it and the main characters were starting to annoy me. I wanted to like it but it was becoming tiresome.

This book is really good!!! Only 50% through it but I’m invested in the characters.

Not sure I’m going to finish this book. It’s been a struggle to read after the rape, and yes it was rape. I’m skimming through it because I’m hoping there’s more substance somewhere in the story AND because the book has received so many high marks. I realize it’s 1940 and things were different then but as an Italian woman I’m finding this story insulting. It must be me!!

I’m 60% through this story. It’s riveting. I love a book that inspires me to search the internet for more facts. This is historical fiction at its best. I’m taking a break now because what I just read, and then went to research, has me upset. I’ll come back to it later tonight. Right now I’m putting on the TV. Mindless comedy is what I want.

I’m really embarrassed to say this.....but there are too many words. Too many descriptions of the same things. I’m not sure I’m going to finish this book. I’ll probably be sorry but there has to be something better to read.

I’m not liking it. Without revealing any spoilers....the beginning does not seem realistic. It’s starting to remind my of an adolescent read. I’m so disappointed. If this wasn’t the 7th in the series (with one more to come) I would have put it in my DNF group.

I’m still struggling getting into this story and I don’t like “ghosts” narrating!!

I’ve just started this book. I’m usually hooked after the first few pages, but not so with this book. I couldn’t wait to get it and now I’m having trouble staying with it. If things were not bad enough.....now a ghost has entered in the cast. Hope I can finish it. Love Kate Morton. I’ve read all her books but I’m majorly disappointed so far.
