Quick read. Well written.

Well written. I loved reading about places close to my home. I felt a connection to the main character even though I couldn't relate. This book certainly felt realistic on the situations that occurred.

Quick read. Attention to detail. Didn't seem as though the author tried piecing everything together in the last chapter like some, rather details earlier on fit well too the ending.

Very quick, easy read. Even with each chapter (year) being rather short, the author developed the characters very well over time. Interested in reading others from this author based on this book

Yet another well-written book by Karen Slaughter. I'm becoming more familiar with her style as I read through the series. Wow she always finds a twist, especially at the end, it is never an unbelievable twist. She sets it up very well and it's never completely out of left field but a plausible ending. Her further development of the characters and delving into each of them a bit more each book draws me in!

While not exactly predictable, the author allows you the ability to make guesses at what you think is happening but there's enough of a twist that you are still surprised at the end. Will written, easy read. Enjoying the ongoing personal stories within the series.
