very much not vibing with this

finally starting to get interesting!

the low rating must be due to the miscategorization as a romance book, which i really do not think this is; it seems just general fiction tbh

The past storyline was somewhat intriguing but the other does not seem to be, dnf

just when i was hoping it'd picked up at last, it's boring again

uhhh... this is very weird and meandering, not in a good way

it's not a bad book but i find nothing to care about/be invested in here; not a single redeeming/sympathetic quality about the mc

Decent buildup but then it got really stupid, dnf

with sadness, i do not like it

it has been a long battle and i will not be fighting anymore, dnf

this family is so messed up

this book is interminable

The nonsensical kids' conversations.are really too much at this point, I don't care

first impressions: feels a bit like a mix between the copper cat / winnowing flame, not invested in any characters yet

the shopping addiction and lack of any form of parenting in the mc is unhinged

am i supposed to dislike the main characted so much

kinda yawn... not grabbing my attention

apparently this is really slow, hopefully won't turn out too much - I don't think I can handle getting too bored these days without putting the book away to the "farm"

This book really feels like cliché trope after cliché trope... I don't see the appeal, and am not enjoying it anymore

After a cool beginning, this is now really boring and feels like it's going nowhere; a random collection of creepy tropes one after another

these are for sure strange, but so far quite one-note
