i swear one of my biggest pet peeves in books is when a chapter starts with “it turned out that” or any variation of it.

i really hate it when authors write “could care less” instead of “couldn’t care less.”

meh, it’s fine. Definitely VERY slow moving. Hopefully picks up soon. While the descriptions are good, it feels a bit sterile right now when it comes to any emotions.
