I haven't read something this fun in a while.

Fun to read about near-contested conventions leading up to the shitshow that is sure to be the GOP convention this year.

Attempting to speed-read Pynchon. Probably not the best idea. But really fun so far.

I just finished The Essential Calvin and Hobbes: A Calvin and Hobbes Treasury and gave it 5 stars. And this is a sharing test from an iPad Kindle app.

Slow-going, I know.

Manages to be interesting despite me not knowing music at all. The descriptions of symphonies and operas and the like really don't do anything for me, though. I should probably listen to them while reading, but that's too much work.

I am slow at reading.

Okay, I've actually started reading this, a month after I put it on here as if I were reading it. Took a dozen pages or two to get into the Pacific Journal, which is a rough way to start the book, but I'm liking it.

I'm counting this, ok?

First Wallace fiction for me, unless you count the encounters and events he made up in his non-fiction essays.
