Second installment in Armstrong's Cainsville series. This mythos includes some Welsh / Celt mythology underlying its detective genre, although unlike LKH's Merry Gentry series, there are actual mysteries in this series. Enjoyable read.

Strong beginning. I was going to say "impactful" but that's somewhat pun-ny considering the cold open is a mass murder via Mercedes . I have a fear this is going to get predictable, but Steve may surprise me. Classic retired detective / taunting criminal romp.
