I can't lie, I low key hate this book so far.

I'm probably not going to remember most of this, but it's quite fascinating!

The Count is starting to get creepy....

Though I am most definitely not Anna David and most definitely do not have much in common with her or her lifestyle, I find this book resonating with that part of me that just wants to be better. I put it down yesterday and felt oddly optimistic about life. Let's see how I feel by the end...

time to put some "quality" reading into my life. Too much twilight = angry me. Kitty has always made me smile, so let's hope that this installment of the series continues that pattern. So far, the convenience store is a haven of supernatural activities. too funny.

So far, this book has made me cringe a lot. The part about not wanting to get married out of high school because she doesn't want to be "one of those girls", the part where she's worried about graduating, etc. However, when she breaks her hand because she punches jacob? priceless. But really, who DIDNT see his confession coming? helllooooooooo? fool

The part where Bella says she doesn't want to marry Edward right away because she doesn't want to be "one of those girls who gets married out of high school and dies for her boyfriend?" Freaking priceless. I laughed til I cried. Oh... wait... that's supposed to be a serious moment? oops. I just thought that since she's doing exactly that... oh.. well.. never mind then....

Rosalie has just told Bella her sob story of how she was turned into a vampire. Bella mentions how she thinks that her century is so incredibly different to Rosalie's. Rosalie wanted to be married and spend the rest of her life with someone and have a house to care for and children. That was in the 30s. Bella says this is weird. Yet she wants to only spend an eternity with Ed. She wants what 30's Rose wanted. >.<

The farther I get into Good Squad, the more it seems like this book is a collection of connected short stories. The way that each chapter is written, with each character having a view point written in a different style, almost gives the feeling that this book has multiple authors. It is interesting and a little bit strange. I guess life is like that though, isn't it?

Bella Swan is by far the most infuriating character I have ever read. No teen girl in this day and age, fictional or not, should do everything solely because her boyfriend says to do so. And the way all she seems to do is cook and clean? Did we rewind to the fifties and no one told me?

Honestly, I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about this book. It starts with a snippet of Sasha and how she is trying to deal with kleptomania. Then it goes to her previous boss, Bennie. Although in his snippet, Sasha still works for him. Then to years previous and Bennie's friend Rhea, who is a wanna be punk rocker with freckles trying to deal with her bff dating an older man, doing drugs and having sex. idk

So far, we've covered the spanish conquest of America and are now on the English settlement of the Northeast. Holy crap, this is long.

OMG This book is massive... but it is a total review of American history. Good Lord....
