DNF at 23%, I want to support sapphic books by Black authors and some people might be able to push through but there are so many books I could be reading.

I just moved a bunch of stuff off my currently reading list back to want to read and wow did I have a lot of stuff I opened to check on something or just never went back to after a couple of pages lol

Oh thank goodness. I was just getting ready to stop, giving our TSTL heroine a final kick to the curb (this is the second time I've started this book). But she's starting to grow a brain, so I think I'll try to keep going for a little while longer.

I'm stalling with this book and I'm not sure why. It has all the right elements but I'm...not engaged. I'll try to come back to it later (I've been doing this for two weeks)

I stopped at the start of Chapter 8 after listening to well over an hour and having absolutely no idea what was going on. Either the prose is devolving into something nonsensical or whatever is going on no longer has hold of my attention. I might go back to my last bookmark tomorrow and start again...

The destruction of the Gilded Age Manhattan mansions still makes me cry. Otherwise, completely fascinating book. There needs to be a miniseries. Or a full series, I'm not picky.

This one's going to be a long listen. I had to stop for the day and go listen to musicals so I wouldn't sob at my desk.
