Too much of catnip for Liberals. If you want to look down on religious literalists, country folk, preppers, etc. this is book will hit the spot.

It is well written, especially in stretches, but cannot avoid a sort of soap opera of right wing craziness feel. Unfortunately the appeal is that of rubber necking of, appropriately enough, a car wreck.

Very good in parts, but in parts a bit too polemical. Overall an enormously important warning.
