More misery.

<spoiler>Great, the "school" turns out to be a concentration camp for girls. More child abuse, this time from a teacher. This world is a disgusting place.
Oh and Christianity enabling abusers.
Though at least now there's more dialogue.</spoiler>

Realised I can charge up by reading something emotional - for example I felt miserable after reading some Jane Eyre and I used up that energy to read this for 35 minutes. This helps me to avoid quick exhaustion, it seems.

Started reading it today because it's short and I'm a big fan of landships. I got it at least in 2019 and I haven't read since it due to my physical TBR from hell, which is, like, 200 books.

Reminded my how I got into a reading slump from hell. It's slow and exhausting to read. At some point I started grinding through stuff like this instead of dnfing it and I forgot how it is to enjoy the act of reading.

Wow, these people are just so vile. It gives some insight into mentality of conservatives. Like, that's the world they want. It seems like this novel is going to be about pure misery. Depressing.

Damn, that's a pretty rough start. Child abuse, classism, lookism, mental illness... Seems to be well written, though.

Reading it on Warhammer Vault. It made realise that over last two years, I have lost all passion I had for Wh40k.
It just feels no different than reading lore for some generic sci-fi that I have no attachment to.
