This book is so slow. What do you mean I've been listening to the audiobook for four days and I still have 9 hours left?!

There's so much going on and nothing at the same time. Useless details, too much fluff. Get to the point!

I'm unsure if the book is just too slow, lacks excitement, or if I'm just easily distracted. I'm almost 1/2 way done and so far it's been anticlimactic.

This book is so good. I forgot how emotionally heavy the first book was... this one is much heavier. I needed a break around chapter 20

I'm almost 30% through the book and I'm not sure how it has such a high rating. It's dragging. When does it get good?

This book is sloooowww. Also, don't like the voice of the main character; she's a Black girl (according to the cover) but her fascination with White people and them not "black fishing" is unsettling.
