So far, pretty repetitive. The narrator has mentioned the fact that her parents are liars around 20 times. It’s getting a bit annoying.
Also, the main character’s writing and the writing of the book-within-a-book feels too similar. Could be intentiona. You could argue that they’re father and daughter, but if Maggie hates her dad’s book so much… why would she write like him?
