Do I need to give Cloud Atlas another try?

I'm feeling moody.

There is an amazing line in this. Where our sick of the world's shit protagonist is hobnobbing with the uber liberal white people and one mentions the Israel conflict and this was written before public opinion swayed and it reminded me that we truly hard pivoted on that issue. I never thought that we could ever be here today.

This book that's supposed to be cozy sure is making me question my mortality and cry for the dying insects/earth because of our shitty world views.

I don't know why I am doing everything but finish Katabasis ...

Lol this is my bedtime audiobook

I started reading this book and I was like wtf? So I put it down and read some of my Libby books. Then I somehow, somewhere, read an excerpt from David Mitchell (novelist) about how he loved this book and I understood everything.

I have become enthralled. Please don't take this away from me.

Chiamaka makes me so sad because I see a lot of myself in her. I don't know if I'm ready to change perspectives I'm going to miss Chiamaka :'(
