This is a powerful story and although the language is dated I learned so much. The story is gripping and had me from the beginning.

I listened to this book. It hard to pay attention when the narrator mispronounces colloquial words. That said, I loved the story and its setting. If you’re from (or familiar with) West Virginia you may enjoy the book too!
