NetGalley arc

Still trudging along into chapter 18 on audio. I will get through it!

I can’t for the life of me finish this book. I’m on track 28 and will plug along until I’m done, but the pace will be a few minutes per sitting!

I’m reading a NetGalley ARC and a bit surprised with the ghostly suspense. Stay tuned!

Part 2 is where she recognizes what and how she needs to heal. I find myself nodding and even getting teary with empathy when her doctor reveals her adrenaline has been taking over her body for nearly a year. Yes. I understand this all too well.

Holy moly…

… I started this memoir (not my typical genre) yesterday and in bits and spurts got to part 2 quickly

1) I LOVE Jen’s writing
2) I’m so glad I was nosy enough to wonder why her marriage ended and … BAM there it is on page one
3) part one is about trusting the signals. Not just about failed marriages, but about everything and during every era of your life—from childhood to adulthood

Starting this NetGalley ARC and if I’m being honest, I’ve been curious about the events that led to Jen’s Second Act era.

Listening on @netgalley app from Hachette Audio. 25% in and pleasantly surprised by her story. The writing is amateur, but her actual life more than makes up for it.

I’ve been reading on audio all of the Outlander novels. It kind of just happened as a result of being frustrated with the production schedule of the show!

I’m starting the book I’ve had in my TBR the longest!

Going back to 2012 when this book was written to catch up with the world of fantasy readers.

Received a NetGalley ARC and hoping I love it!

The first third is only half good. Hope it gets better.

This is my slow-but-steady read for those of us following the Currently Reading Podcast. Idk, it's pretty profound, but I'm too distracted with how boring it is.

I may have to DNF this at 80%. It is just too focused on business relationships that I pushed through without enjoyment. This was a 2019 title for me.

I got confused once Ade was introduced. I must not have been reading with focus.

This is my slow-but-steady read. Just finished the introduction and I'm not sure I retained any of it. At least I highlighted!

I don't read Stephen King novels. I am a HSP and can't handle it. But boy is this good stuff! Just finished his bio half and I'm looking forward to his thoughts on the craft.

I'm both listening to the audible version and e-book depending on where I am or what I am doing. The story is a twist of twists in terms of time travel and time. Re-reading has happened.

I'm starting the audible version of this book after receiving Brené Brown's email and hearing about her Dare to Lead #daringclassrooms on Instagram. Free resources for those of us in the classroom sounds right up my alley.

Abbi Waxman has such a sense of humor that although this book compares with Eleanor Oliphant (minus the psychological trauma), the lead character, Nina, comes across as weirdly charming, single, but able to make and keep friends. Let's see where this story takes me because the funny dialogue is what is keeping me reading.
