I'm only 2 chapters in but this book would definitely be engaging for children.

I started reading this because I've had it on my kindle forever, and I have read most of The Story of Science : Einstein Adds a New Dimension by Joy Hakim and figured it would pair well with what was covered in that (A LOT). From the looks of it, it does. Excited to keep reading about this topic now that I have a better understanding of it.

I highly recommend The Story of Science for budding science students!

Some good parts during the epic battle but took a while to get there. Still entertaining though. Still debating the very end though- like it and don't like it. :)

This book - wow. I was intimidated by the writing initially, though I found it very interesting. Now I'm just in awe at where the plot has gone and in general.

Always feel so lost when I start a book in this series. I've never read a series that changes characters so completely. It's kind of neat, but takes some getting used to.

Loving this book so far. And I just read about the author on the cover- what an interesting life he has led.

I'm enjoying this book so far. Not sure i would have selected it on my own, but it's a fun read.

All I can say is I love this book. Love the character. Humorous, fascinating. Great read!

Dang, good book already. I need to stock up on caffeine as I know I'll be reading late until I'm done!

For a while there, it was like reading Game of Thrones. Definitely interesting and a bit different. I'm definitely hooked!

I read this long ago in school and loved it, but am reading it again for C's school.

This book has grabbed me from the start. Was going to read for 5-10 minutes- so hard to put down!

loving this. These books are just really fun!

So, this really does read like a textbook. There are comments on the sides from Clary, Jace, and Simon. After trying to read it entirely, I decided I didn't have time for that and would gain nothing from it. I chose to read the side notes as the book and when needed read a bit of the text if required. Flowed much better and was more enjoyable. So can I count that as reading the book? Survey says?

trying to find my way back to reading this...not sure... isn't a bad book, just bad timing and i was already having a bit of a time getting used to certain aspects of his writing again.

Started out feeling like the other books, got into it again and realized just how much i missed it. But it is getting very dark in a way...takes on a world of deep topics and layers in a way...curious where it will end up.

I don't know if I can finish in 8 days but I'll try!
