Holy hell, the descriptions of what these viruses do to the human body are horrific. I started to become squeamish while reading that.

It's been very predictable so far.

It's summarized a lot of what happens in the previous book. That's good for me, since I don't have the previous book, but most people probably read it before reading this one.
