This book is like the strangest dream or an acid trip. It sure seems like she's being groomed...

I forgot that Mona Awad has such poetic prose. I really enjoy her writing style.

I've been brought to tears multiple times, and I'm only half way through. His interaction with Jane Goodall (my hero since high school) and the elephants in India. OMG, elephants. And really, all of the animal kingdom. Humans suck ass.

I love this book. He's living the life I was too intimidated to attempt on my own. He's a boy, so there's the obvious difference. But I'm so intrigued by the fearlessness of adventure to do what truly matters in the realm of humanity. I've wasted 30+ years of my life not following my passion for wildlife, and the earth, and the network that humans are not in sync with.

Terrible. Repetitive. Misogynistic. Pedophilia. Rape. Breast fetish. Bad prose.

Terrible

Awesome! Can't wait for the next one from the library!

I really enjoyed this story. I'm looking forward to the next book. I enjoyed the main character beinga female with great strength, and that the characters were gender balanced.
