The “before” chapters are killing me. I don’t care about them at all, especially after very quickly figuring out the twist. Just give me all the present moments, please.

I know not much has happened, but it also feels like so much has happened. I can't wait to really get into the story. So far, I'm intrigued!

At this point, I need someone to spoil me if Blake will be the love interest or if he gets a book. He's kept me so intrigued in the little he's appeared, yet the "mmc" has been a bore and ugh.

I need my men in fantasy to be a little unhinged; otherwise, they bore me. Others would probably swoon over the mmc. Me? I roll my eyes. He’s just really nice and caring the entire time. Even when kidnapping her, he was nice and gave her a choice. (Yes, I know I’m mentally unhinged when it comes to my fictional stories and mmc's. Sue me.)

I’m wanting to DNF so badly. I thought this was going to be a fantastic time, but the fmc is truly the most stupid character I’ve ever read. And don’t get me started on her monologues of having an undesirable body type of small waist, big curves and breasts, small nose and big eyes. PUH-LEASE.

"It would be easier if he hated us," she said. "But he loves us all terribly. And if we go on letting him love us, that love is going to kill us. That's what makes him so dangerous."

I am BAFFLED at how this series isn’t more hyped. It’s so addicting! I actually haven’t stopped thinking about the first book since I read it last October.

Started reading around 5:30am and haven’t been able to stop (currently it’s 7:42am). This has to be my fave of the series! 🥹
