This is a solid psychological thriller. The gaslighting is strong in this one, so reader be aware. I do think that the build up made this a slow burn. But the as the pieces fall apart, and the lies unravel, the pace picks up and I couldn’t put it down for the last 150 or so pages.

Conspiracy theories, rock and roll and small town life in the Catskills come together for a wild ride. It felt a bit far fetched at times, but then that adds to conspiracy aspect and made for a wild plot.

Slow pacing but poignant.

Typical atmospheric thriller, told through multiple perspectives. Trapped in the depressing Black Harbor one girl is found dead, another missing- who did it? The options are plentiful.
